Quest Bridge National College Match:

The QuestBridge National College Match is a college and scholarship application process that helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to the nation's most selective colleges.

College Match Scholarships, which are provided by participating colleges, cover the full cost of tuition, room and board, are loan-free, and require no parental contribution.

E&J Gallo Winery - E& J. Gallo Winery’s High School Scholarship & Internship Program

This program is a great opportunity for students in the Central Valley to receive a college scholarship while gaining real work experience within the internship. Over the past  21 years, we’ve had 142 students enter this program and many of them have continued on to successful careers at the Winery and elsewhere. We ask that  you advertise this opportunity to students who meet the qualifications listed below  so that  they can be considered for the program.

We are looking  for seniors  who meet the following  qualifications:

  • 3.2 unweighted cumulative GPA or higher
  • 1190 SAT (1650 for old SAT) or 25 ACT score or higher
  • Official transcript
  • Two completed 300 word essays
  • Two letters of recommendation (both from an educator or one from an educator and one  from an employer)
  • Must maintain a 2.8 GPA and full time student status  at the college of their choice.

Students have the opportunity to work as a paid intern  at Gallo Winery for 40 days each summer before the year in which the student receives their scholarship award.    The Summer Internship for 2018 will be from June 11th  – August 3rd. Students who opt  into the Winery internship will receive real world projects and training in a department related to their field of study  (if applicable).
